Free-Eye: an Idea, a Patent
In 1998 Giancarlo’s passion for photography and the optics leads him to patenting Free Eye. This ingenious yet simple instrument, is a connecting disk that allows any professional camera, photo and video, to correct the perspective view. The equipment is manufactured by the Dutch maker Cambo.
 
The First Years in Milan
In 1982 he moves to Milan and opens his Studio. During that year he displays some of his pictures in two touring exhibitions organized for the Castelvecchio Museum of Verona, dedicated to the'900 Architect Carlo Scarpa and to the textiles of the XIV age of Emperor Cangrande Della Scala.
In 1983 he creates a precious book dedicated at the roman art in Milan, "Milano Romana" published from Rusconi. This volume was edited by the maximum expert in roman art, Prof. Mirabella Roberti.
In 1984 he produces an important story on Italy’s Alps, shooting from an helicopter for over 100 hours of flying. These pictures are published in all the world and today they are a rare documentation of Alps glaciers.
Early Starts…
Giancarlo was born near Venice in 1954.
His passion for art, nature and landscaping soon brings him to choosing Photography, not only as his life passion, but also as his career.
In 1975 starts his first Photo agency that specializes in Sports Photography. This first agency is soon recognized on a European level and was sponsored by Canon.
In 1978 he decides to give a new direction to his profession and so he specializes in photos of beauties and advertising Photography.
In 1980 published the book titled: The Sile, along the river from Treviso to Venice. Introduction the writer Carlo Sgorlon and comments from the critic Italo Zannier.
